Calibration : Pressure & Vacuum

Pressure & Vacuum

The pressure laboratory is equipped with a 0.008% air dead weight tester with a range from -1 to 25bar and a 0.008% hydraulic dead weight tester with a range of 0 to 700bar with an oil/water converter.

This equipment gives us the ability to calibrate a wide range of precision pressure transducers, transmitters, digital and analogue pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, barometers and multifunction pressure calibrators to a best uncertainty of 0.008%.

We also have a 0.04% pressure calibration system with a range of 0.95 to 200bar with oxygen free nitrogen.

Calibration of low pressure measuring instruments is achieved using a Furness PPC500 which covers pressure between the ranges of 200microbar to 20 mbar with uncertainities of (0.11% +0.3microbar).
