UKAS temperature calibration at Absolute Calibration is performed in a very well equipped Environmental Laboratory with a variety of fluid baths, a fluidised alumina bath and a high temperature furnace, all of which provide very stable isothermal environments for the temperature calibration of Platinum Resistance Thermometers and thermocouples using comparative techniques.
Absolute Calibration have wide experience in the calibration of Kaye Intelligent Probes (Intelligent Resistance Temperature Devices - IRTD's). We can also re-programme Kaye Intelligent Probes as part of their calibration.
We can provide UKAS and Standard calibration and certification over the range:-
-70°C to 1100°C with uncertainties as low as 0.01°C
As well as PRT's and Thermocouples we also provide temperature calibration of Dry block calibrators and Infrared (blackbody) thermometers.
