During the last week of November, we stripped out all our old benching and storeage cabinets, decorated and then fitted modern new work stations, storeage and benches to our Standards Laboratory. This has uplifted the look and feel of the room in preparation for some exciting new equipment which will extend our capability and improve our uncertainties for resistance measurement.
A considerable amount of work was put in by staff in the standards lab to ensure that the new layout would help improve throuput as well as measurement accuracy. Dedicated areas have been created for resistance, dc voltage, capacitance and inductance activities, improving our ability to service our customer requirements. |
